Spring time

05/02/2023

May is an exciting time of the year because it's the first time we're able to go fishing since our annual river closure March 31st. However I'm not thinking about winter steelhead on our return back, in fact the last thing we want do is catch a steelhead. We do not target them. They are there still, and will be for awhile but they need to be left alone so they can continue spawn. We're here to fish for Springers and Coastal Cutthroat trout. If you are a gear fisherman the spring chinook fishing from May 1st- July 15th is you're calling, and I am happy to bait your hooks. If you love to fly fish for trout, lucky for you the opportunity to fish for trout with a single handed 4-6wt doesn't just began in May as well, but it goes all spring and summer long and I love to watch them eat your fly. Also the weather can be amazing so come join us!
